BioWhy the username? Simple reason. During my brief stay in Japan, I have learned the following things:
1. You never know as much Japanese as you think you do.
2. Discount meat markets are your very best friend.
3. 500 yen coins are the most convenient monetary units to ever grace God's green earth.
I'm a student studying at Temple University Japan for the next four months. I created this journal for pretty basic reasons. I want to remember as much of my brief time here as possible, and I want my family and friends to be able to see what I'm doing half a world away. Of course, if anyone else is interested in my goings-on, feel free to friend me!
Some rules about my journal:
1. Don't hotlink. If you want to use one of the pictures I've taken, upload it to your own webspace. It only takes a moment to get a free account at www.photobucket.com . I've met some really cool people by keeping this journal public, and I really don't want to have to make it friends only.
2. If you're reading this journal, and I don't know you, leave a comment saying hello! Friend me! This is not actually a rule, more of a suggestion. I love meeting people who are interested in Japan, and chances are that if you are reading my journal, you fall right into that category :)
